.Tyrannosaurus rex.
None other than Tyrannosaurus, yes that pic one, actually the rex which is added after its name is there to give this species respect cause 'rex' is a Latin word which means King.
They were the King for sure and if you want to know the coverage of their empire, (the area where they are abundant) then have a look at this figure.

So, It is clear that this species was limited to North America and some of the Asia parts. They ruled this world for almost 85 to 66 million years according to official data available. Yeah, I know very long ago.

T-rex were earlier believed as scavengers not only this species but almost every second dinosaur species were believed to be scavengers but later on when research went on and many things were found, any evidence was found then it was realized that species such of T-Rex were both scavenger and an apex predator.
And all of us like the image of T-Rex as Apex Predator without any doubt, yeah, who wants to feed on animals which are already died, but to hunt for one is something very interesting.
Well, moving on to what we can found through studies of this old man current evidence and reconstructed skeletons, so, We found that this creature is a complete form of debate, starting from taxonomy to is there any predators' of this old man present at that time, everything was considered significantly and then slowly and gradually, we reached conclusion for everything.
Why The King:-
So, First of all, what we need to discuss is what the heck made this creature King of all, King of tyrant lizards, why rex was added to its name?
So, First of all, understand that this creature was not the largest dinosaur of all time nor the most intelligent one of course. Then what made this meat-eating dinosaur the most aggressive one.
So to understand we need to do a very short study of T-Rex and which is what we are going to do next.
Study of Apex Predator:-
T-Rex is not all about: but there are many aspect to this creature.
Skeleton:
Its Skull was unified one, no moving parts except the lower part of jaw, The skull including the lower jaw compartment is ofcourse one of the largest of that time.
If we talk about the first skeleton then according to official data outthere, it was found by Barnum Brown, a curator at American Museum, and the year was 1900.
In an article, it is mentioned that Brown said that "In the nearby Quarry, [which was named as Quarry no.1] it contains, femur, pubes, humerus, skull, undetermined bones of a large carnivorous dinosaur which is not identified yet, and he also mentioned that he never saw one that big."
When it was reconstructed, then just close your eyes and assume that you're standing in front of someone which is 5-6 Tonns in weight, stood in front of you almost (6.5-15 m) and had 15 cm long sharp teeth, and can run behind you with top speed of 16-40 kmph. Then what will be the word to describe your condition maybe nothing like that, you'll be viewing destruction inside a body.

That's why we give this species some respect and we do it through it's name which is, The nonexclusive name is gotten from the Greek words τύραννος (tyrannos, signifying "despot") and σαῦρος (sauros, signifying "reptile"). Osborn utilized the Latin word rex, signifying "ruler", for the particular name. The full binomial hence means "despot reptile the ruler" or "Lord Tyrant Lizard", stressing the creature's size and seen predominance throughout different types of the time.
Weaknesses and Predator of The Apex:-
Yeah, Both of the above mentioned things exist and let's have a look at them one by one starting from weaknesses, well, it's not hard to spot, everyone know that one, it is its puny arms, and the function of these arms is a source of debate among scientists even at the present date but it is assumed that they were used to slash enemy in close range, and they cause fatal injury in close proximity.
Second weakness is what is shown in the film Jurassic Park, it's their speed. Most of the time either they walk or their top speed reaches 40km/h but ofcourse what to fear is the momentum, yeah, remember physics, ok so moving on.

So, It is true that T-Rex, the king of lizards had it's enemies too at that time, let's have a look at the first one
1. T-rex first fear would be other T-rexs' for sure: They can fight over territoty or mating right or food or maybe for common place, and believe me it will be full on death battle.

2. Triceratops without any doubt will be on the predator list of the apex predator, The Three Horned Lord V/s Apex Predator: Like, Triceratops was a large, giant sized herbivore armed with three pointed horns, Well, one can imagine how easy for a Triceratop it would be to kill T-Rex, but they were not so ill-tempered we can say, or they were not so hungry to fight, completely herbivore animals, calm and silence.

3. Ankylosaurus could be another predator for Apex Predator but this could be the case only, like I know, T-Rex may have been specialized at takind down armored prey but: Ankylosaurus may be just one step ahead if this species wants to fight, just need to swung its powerful tail club which would then produce enough force to shatter bone and crush it into many parts and would make king to lie in its own grave.
