Hey All, Welcome back to another blog where we are going to discuss that what is Christmas Star, and what's so special about it, And why are we discussing about it in another blog.

As you will encounter several news ongoing about christmas star and how jupiter and saturn is going to form Christmas Star with a severely close encounter that hasn't been seen from the Earth in 800 Years. 

What the heck is Christmas Star?

There are several explanation and perspective to answer this question like What is the Christmas Star in Bible or is it a Nova or Supernova explosion, or is it a Comet, or a joint set-up of Jupiter and Saturn, or a stationary point of Jupiter, or a conjunction of Jupiter, Regulus and Venus. 

So, We are going to focus on what's necessary to understand for this like understanding that what will happen to solar system's two largest planets, Jupiter and Saturn, so before starting that let us understand that What actually is the most accepted definition of Christmas Star.

Actually, The most accepted theory of Christmas star is about the alignment of Jupiter and Saturn and Birth of Jesus Christ, as I had heard, Correct me if this information is incorrect,

During the birth of Jesus Christ, a Star was so much bright that whole earth was very bright looking, and the star was called as star of Bethlehem.

So, we should move on to forward topic after understanding What is Christmas Star, so Now, the topic that from how much time we are tracking and taking this event.  

So, The truth is, it's been a long time, a very long on, It is obvious that all these things don't come suddenly like from nowhere but they are tracked from a very long time.

But This event was something special, this event were into consideration from like 5 to 8 christmas back.

What Now?

Jupiter and Saturn were close, so-close back in 1623, but according to astronomers the atmospheric conditions were not so great for scene to be visible from naked eye back.

You have to go back to approximately 1226 for such "Great Conjunction" to happen. If you missed this event this year then the next time it will be available for you guys will be the year 2080.

Cosmologists are considering the occasion the "Incomparable Conjunction of 2020", which will adventitiously occur on the colder time of year solstice - the longest evening of the year in the northern half of the globe.

Just imagine that Jupiter and Saturn both inclined to each other at "Just" 0.1•  

NASA said Jupiter and Saturn have "bit by bit drew nearer to one another" and will be only a "fifth of a full moon separated" at their nearest point. 

The space organization added: "Remember that while the two gas goliaths may show up close, as a general rule they are a huge number of miles separated. 

"This will be a serious striking sight, yet you should look quick as the two planets will set soon after nightfall. 

"Look over the western skyline after dusk for these brilliant, close planets - a reasonable view will help!"

There are various ways that how to measure angels as well as what will be the perfect way to view this Great Conjunction.

Moving On to the next major point which is that this event will be taking place on 21st of December and at that day again On Dec, 21 the planets will appear so close together that they will almost look like one point of light to the unaided eye. 

For Some?  

For some people, It is a relaxation cause they are assuming that this is a sign of God or Jesus for their bright future as well as year ahead that is the upcoming year 2021, after this so bad and disastrous year. 

For some it is a rare astronomical event, like a never miss one cause the last time it occured it was the year 1623 and now it's 2020 and the next will be 2080.

For some, it is just a normal day in their life, Just Another corona day of 2020, like they must literally hate the word 20-20.

Let Me Clear 

So, For those who are unable to study science or if it's a habit for them to misunderstand everything, then let me clear that Jupiter and Saturn, Solar System's two largest planet are not really getting very close, they will be 380-390 million miles apart.

Reason:-

The actual reason for this event to occur is ofcourse the difference in their orbit time, Jupiter's orbit time is 12 years while Saturn's orbit time is 29 years.
