Before reading this ahead, one must know that i am gonna tell my personal ideas that can differ person by person and i will be sharing conclusions available all over the web pages and journals too. 

So, Let's get started by understanding what is vpn and how actually it works? 

Actually, Vpn does really abbreviated as Virtual Private Network by pointing out vpn it basically means to develop a network inside a network which is already shared or used or in general: It means to bulid one's private network inside a public network and then you can access that or you can encrypt all the data's which will be shared through that network; It is not necessarily to be on public only you can use it to create a network on a already private one.

All of this was not even basic of what we are going to discuss in this blog in details, before going ahead let us understand what is ip and ip address

IP means Internet Protocol and Ip address is a identity unique to everyone connected to any type of network and why it is used it is used to identify that network devices or that particular network activity; in short you can monitor it from it's ip address and yup i will make another blog later on ip address and it's uses and all for one.

So, Let's get back to the point which is whats the relation between VPN and ip address one can find it by using some sense but lets take that understanding to another level.

Actually understanding the beginning relation between these two is easy which is VPN provides a invisibility to the original ip address or your ip address becomes untraceable and now no one can trace your activities but going on another level means that what actually happens after connecting to vpn and having invisible ip address till the moment you shut it down back. 

Now, lets assume that you are right now connected to a web site and surfing it through a vpn server connectivity then what actually happens is that site when monitors you sees that server your vpn is connected to as the root/origin and your ip address is hidden as i told you its invisible 

The second thing that happens is monitoring your activity will become very much difficult for that site or anyone invading you (or trying to) and what actually happens is what data you're transferring and what site you are visiting remains hidden to the parent server or site. The most important thing is VPN provides encryption to your data that does mean that when someone forcefully invade you what they will see is not your data but messages that are encrypted and you're safe (Indian users as well those countries where Porn is banned or in other words popular videos site that shows porn are banned by government all those countries users can use vpn to connect to that site again and yes you will not be anymore open you will be able to access that material without public disclosure of tour data: I AM NOT PROMOTING IT.) 

VPN is secure but not all of them, you will find many articles on many vpn's claiming the best spot and claiming 100% secure but they aren't there are some vpn's which sell your data to someone else for money or other purposes, some vpn's are there which provide poor server connectivity and poor security/encryption, some provide mild But some are those which IT pros support and then they are the best but yeth only few of them provide 100% encryption to your data. Rest are those which are ranked on the basis of server connectivity or other factors.

Whenever Vpn protocols are stated that means the way by which your vpn service will be handled and the connection between your client and your server will be negotiated, There are some protocols which are commonly used:

 PPTP, L2TP, SSTP, IKEV2, and OpenVPN. 

These are the popular protocols, let's discuss about it one by one:

PPTP (Point-To-Point Tunneling Protocol). This is probably the most seasoned convention which is in use, it is  initially planned by Microsoft. Encryption: I wont tell much about it because another short blog dropping soon about encryption, for                          now just assume that vpn providing higher level of encryption is more safe then others. EX. AES-126 encryption is better than others of lower level but then when it comes into comparison with AES_256 encryption then its no good, getting it.

VPN's are useful for a normal being just wanna surf and access blocked content of that country for ex. right now cruchyroll is not available in india but any anime lover and manga lover can access it for free by connecting to any european server and reconnecting to the website but when it comes to hacking and accessing really restricted content like someone's account details and cc details or any other details available at a website then he can for sure and his ip address will be hidden until he/she uses vpn and noone can trace his/her location but that is a illegal activity that leads to ban of VPN in many countries such as VPN's are often not okay in China, Turkey, Iraq, United Arab Emirates, Belarus, Oman, Russia, Iran, North Korea, and Turkmenistan.
