The Karnataka Police has held onto Bitcoins worth Rs 9 crores from a 25-year-old programmer, Bengaluru Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime) Sandeep Patil educated on Friday.

The programmer, Srikrishna moniker Shreeki, was captured on November 18 for purportedly breaking into government sites, internet gaming entrances and sites. 

"During the examination, it has been discovered that programmer Srikrishna hacked three Bitcoin trades and 10 poker destinations. Bitcoins worth Rs 9 crores have been seized in this issue," Patil said.

Srikrishna is known to hack online poker matches to dominate cash and Bitcoins on the web. He purportedly additionally admitted to hacking the e-acquirement site of the Karnataka government in 2019.
